INCENSe is the FIWARE Accelerator focused on CleanTech from the European Commission FIWARE initiative. It aims to accelerate the development and adoption of Future Internet technologies in Europe, advance the European market for smart infrastructures, and increase the effectiveness of business processes through the Internet. INCENSe will promote the creation of innovative products and services spreading the use of FIWARE technology among the European Web Entrepreneurs [WEs] and SMEs. In particular, the INCENSe Accelerator will contribute to the promotion and early adoption of FIWARE Technology in the Cleantech area including FIWARE generic enablers, specific enablers and/or domain specific platforms, by providing personalized acceleration services and distributing a total grant support of 6,2 M€ to around 42 European SMEs operating in the Cleantech sector.
The INCENSE Consortium brings together leading multinational companies in the Energy sector, ENEL and ENDESA, best in class accelerator, ACCELERACE and the first & largest public funding platform for startups, FundingBox.
