Special Session on Event-based Energy Metering and Control at EBCCSP 2015 in Krakow, Poland

At the first International Conference on Event-Based Control, Communicatoon and Signal Processing (ECBCSP 2015) there will be one Special Session on Event-based Energy Metering and Control co-organized by Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (ISMB), Teamware Srl and Politecnico di Torino.

At the first International Conference on Event-Based Control, Communicatoon and Signal Processing (ECBCSP 2015) from the 17th to the 19th of June in Krakow, there will be one Special Session on Event-based Energy Metering and Control. This session is co-organized by the FINESCE partners Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (ISMB), Teamware Srl and by Politecnico di Torino. It will brng together researchers and practicioners working in the fields of event-driven sensing in general, and event-driven procedures of measurements of energy/power and its quality, and the control of smart grid. The session will deal with event-based energy metering and control, which increasingly becomes the focus of attention as distributed generation from renewable energy sources is only poorly predictable.

EBCCSP 2015 will provide a platform for the research communities that work in diverse application areas of event-based systems to exchange new research results and ideas to explore synergies and foster scientific advancement of the event-based paradigm.Topics of the conference include amongst others energy-efficient control over wireless networks, energy-efficient clockless circuits and signal processing chains, bio-inspired computing architectures, and frame-free event-driven vision systems.
